The United Methodist Women at Bethany offer three circle groups each month. You are sure to find a group that will meet your interests and time constraints. On the first Tuesday of the month at 7 pm the Pricilla Circle meets in the parlor of the church. The second Wednesday of the month the Miriam Circle meets at 9:30 am, and also on the second Wednesday the Martha Circle meets at 1:30. We offer childcare when needed and ask you to please call the church office to make that request (264-4240).
The United Methodist Women are a very active group in our church. They host several big events in our church life. Each April they serve us a fabulous meal of Baron of Beef, home-made crème puffs, home-baked bread, and more. Each October they host our ever popular Chicken Noodle Dinner. These noodles are made from scratch! They always have home-baked pies, and lots of other goodies.
Our ladies also sponsor the Vacation Bible School event each year with donations of cash and food. They sponsor young ladies on the Met Tour, and many other activities vital to the life of our church.
