We have a number of different Sunday School classes that will appeal to the whole family. Beginning with the youngest members, we offer a clean, fun atmosphere in our nursery, which is geared for infants through 3 years old. Children able to walk will be brought downstairs to "Children's Moments" each week during the worship service. We offer a Sunday School class for the children ages 3 - 5 (who haven't started kindergarten). These little ones have a great time learning about our hero, Jesus Christ. This class invites parent and grandparents in for special celebrations several times a year. Kindergarten through 1st grade is a very fun class in a beautiful room. The children come together to snack and learn about the love of God. They do a variety of activities to reinforce the lessons that are taught. 2nd through 3rd grade class come to worship God, and serve as acolytes during our worship service. This energetic group meets in room 204, and boy do they have fun! 4th through 5th grade class are guaranteed a fun time learning about the scriptures and Jesus Christ. Our UMYF aged kids come together each week to see how God fits into their daily life. A relaxed, discussion format is used, and topics relevant to the life of a young teen are discussed. Miz-Pha class meets each week in the church parlor, room 106. This class uses Cokesbury's adult curriculum, which covers a variety of topics that relate to today's adult. They are taught by rotating teachers each week, and this class also has occasional parties and social events. This class is wheelchair accessible on the main floor. The Golden Rule class meets in the church library each week. They are taught by a rotating team of teachers, and use both the Cokesbury adult curriculum and the discussion format. They sponsor parties and social events for their members. This class is wheelchair accessible on the main floor. The Genesis Class meets each week in room 105. They are lead by a team of teachers who prepare and guide each lesson. Recent past studies have included the book of Revelation. Class members meet occasionally for breakfast and social events. This class is wheelchair accessible. The New Beginnings class meets downstairs in Fellowship Hall each week. Taught by Nancy DeMott and helpers Janet Lamm and Connie Easley, study books by authors like Rick Warren and Max Lucado. This class is wheelchair accessible via elevator.
