The South Central Improvement Alliance is an organization dedicated to the improvement and development of the "south-central" area of Wichita. The purpose of the organization is to help build the community via: Communication - Involvement - Improvement!
SCIA, is a not-for-profit corporation, is an alliance of businesses, churches, community groups, neighborhood associations, residents and schools created to improve and redevelop South Central Wichita.
Our desire is to promote stronger schools, revitalize existing business while creating new business ventures, refurbish housing, improve the image of the community and increase home ownership by attracting families to live in our neighborhoods.
Our next meeting will be on March 12th at Bethany United Methodist Church from 11:45 am to 1:15 pm. March 19th we will again meet at Bethany beginning at 6:30 pm.
