Bethany Birthday

Dear Bethany Congregation and Friends,

Our son Nathan and I watched "Night at the Museum - Battle at the Smithsonian" the other night and a wax figure of Amelia Earhart had come to life and she said to the main character, "Do you know what the purpose of life is?" She answered, "to have fun." We certainly fulfilled the purpose of life on Sunday night at the Valentine Gala. It was so much fun.

Thank you to the intentional faith sharing, leadership committee and the worship committee for the beautiful decorations and all the time they spent organizing and planning. Thank you to Tura and her friends for the fabulous meal and thank you to each one of you who attended and participated.

The committees are proud to announce that King for the night as Wilmer Gordon and the Queen who presided with him was Nancy DeMott. Good choices and congratulations!

If you would like to continue the fellowship and friendship, the Heartfelt Friends' first meeting will be Sunday, March 7th at 6:30 in the Fellowship Hall. This will be a monthly gathering for adults of all ages. Child care will be provided and this could be a nice fellowship time for children too. Call the office if you need child care.

Continue the practices of friendship and love throughout Lent which begins this Wednesday.

Blessings and love,

Frances
