A few years ago Janet Price put together a beautiful service of Thanksgiving. We are going to do that again, only encourage the congregation to participate on Sunday, November 23rd at 9:30 am. The service will be, "It is Good to Give Thanks" and during the Children's Moments you will be given a chance to pick an angel and name someone for whom you are thankful. The angels will be put on the tree the following week by the children during the hanging of the greens.
We are letting you know in plenty of time so if you would like to name someone during the service, you can.
Also plan to stay for the potluck dinner after Sunday School at 11:30 am. Bring plenty of food to share. There will be no Contemporary Worship.
After lunch we will decorate the church. People are needed to decorate the Sanctuary, the halls and Fellowship Hall. Individual classes can decorate their rooms whenever it works out for the.

Mittens, Gloves, Scarves & Hats Sharing Tree
Our Sharing Tree is collecting many winter items for the boys and girls at Harry Street Elementary! We are seeking donations of mittens, gloves, scarves and hats to keep the cold wind out as fall turns cold and winter begins. If you cannot make the climb up to the Sharing Tree's landing, but want to donate, please bring your items to the Education Office, and we'll see that they get up there.
