Our Motto: "Bethany . . . with a sharing and caring heart . . ."

Welcome to the Bethany United Methodist Church website. We are a growing church, full of warmth, laughter and friendship. We joyfully gather for praise and worship, learning the Scriptures in a way relevant to today's living.

Our Sunday School classes, Bible studies, United Methodist Women, Men's Group, fellowship groups and Comforters provide support, strength and friendship for meeting the challenges of living our faith in daily life.

We believe and teach that our highest purpose is to love God with all our hearts and to love each other. For John the beloved disciple of Jesus Christ writes, "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and those who love are born of God, and know God, for God is love." (1 John 4:7)

9:30 am - Traditional Worship Service
10:45 am - Sunday School
12 noon - Contemporary Worship Service

Sunday Evening Schedule:

5:30 pm - Youth Group

Appreciation from the Girl Scouts

Bethany was awarded an appreciation certificate from the Empire Service Unit of Golden Plains Region with Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland Council for sponsoring seven troops of girls. Arcelia Gibson also presented our church with a check from the Girl Scouts to help defray the cost of electricity, heat and air.
